Love this one – It is a delightful drama/comedy where there always is something exciting happening in the lives of 6 young people, six adults (parents) and a granny. The characters and lines are so well executed by very talented actors.
Although it is not broadcast in the USA I am able to watch this series through my computer and have been enjoying Korean dramas for the last 2 years. This one is particularly enjoyable--hats off to an excellent director, cast and story line.
To reassure a previous member who showed concern about Korean image--please don't look at it as a documentary--it is entertainment. Hopefully all the "trash" on American television is not taken seriously--this is not how we live, etc.
Thanks for sharing your cultures, talents and wonderful sense of humor.

hey im korean and u see...i loveeeeeeeeeeee this drama! and other awesome ones like these you noe...i just compliment on the director and the actors on their amazing acts and interesting scenes! i wish i could meet one of them!

im frm india... i dnt understand a word in korean but accidentally came across this drama one day and thn it has becme ny fav tv show,, i hate tv serials n i cnt believe hw im addicted to this one.. each day when the episode is over, i cnt help myself waitin to knw wat happens in the next episode!
i like taepung a lot... i just love him!he is toooooo goood!!!!!!! i think taepung and saebyok wud make an awesome pair...

I am an avid fan of KBS dramas from the Philippines. I love watching "You are my Destiny".Everytime i'm watching it makes me more excited and in love. I love Kang Hosae fighting for his love for Saebyeok. Keep up the good work. Korean dramas are the best! Please continue making more TV dramas.

i feel that taepung and sabyeok make a great couple both in the story and in real life........they look good together.........i have seen their families also........lee ji-hoon's sister and i really find him cute when he is with his neices.
and then there was yoon ah's sister and dad........i really love when they are together.......
and you are my destiny is a wonderful story.

HELLO I AM RAVI from India . I started seeing KBS - """You Are My destiny "" by accident and WOW i loved it . It comes at 5 in the evening here when i am in the office and also at !! pm . I stay awake at night to see the sweet Jang Sabyeok , Taepung and all the family members of the Kang , Kim and all the lovely stars of the beautiful story . Subin is fantastic as Sabyeok's rival . Hosae is very stony faced. Yeonsil - subin's mother is very epitome of possesive short tempered and childish mother................. love you all .
My family also watches when i come home early and i have picked up a few korean words "" OMANE'' , FOR ELDERLY PERSON OR GRANDMOTHER / ''OUIYO'' for milk , "'' OPA"" FOR BROTHER ETC .
You Koreans have a beautiful culture and an honoured respect for the elders and because of that I am now in love with Korean people and their beautiful culture and if God wishes i shall definitely come down one day to Korea to meet them.

I like Korean dramas. I can learn a lot of Korean's culture and tradition through all these dramas. After I have seen several them, I felt that the males in those dramas are not very nice, they always involve a lot violent, fighting. Also, the worst one is the mother-in-law who is always so bitch about everything. Don't you think you put a very bad image on Korean's old generation of women and males?
the show of "you are my destiny" seems to be an interesting show at the beginning. But when it is going on, you made some of the charectors so twisted. Of course, it is a drama, but the image of the Korean people are also important, such as males, and old women.
Yoon Sang-hyun and Cho Yeo-jung to Star in New Drama
Yoon Sang-hyun and Cho Yeo-jung will star in the KBS 1TV daily drama “The Road Home.” The new drama is slated to air next January when the drama “You are My Destiny” comes to an end. “The Road Home” will portray love and conflicts between family members running a general hospital. Producer Moon Bo-hyun, who helmed the KBS 1 TV daily dramas “As Much as Heaven and Earth” and “Single Papa's Passionate Love,” will team up with writer Gem-rim, who wrote the dramas “Eun-shil,” “When I Miss You” and “Blue Mist.” Yoon, who played a comedic character in the sitcom “The secret of CooCoo Island,” will take on the role of Yoo Min-soo, the eldest son of the hospital’s CEO. Cho will play Yoo’s wife Jang Mi-ryeong, who bears a child out of wedlock but raises it with maternal love. Lee Sang-woo, who played Goo Se-ju in the drama “The Five Wives Club,” will also appear as the younger brother of Yoon.
'You are My Destiny' Viewer Ratings at 30%
The KBS 1TV daily drama "You are My Destiny" reached viewer ratings of 30% for the first time. According to the TV ratings research company AGB Nielson Media Research, "You are My Destiny" recorded national ratings of 31.6% on August 5th. The drama began airing on May 5th at 24.8%, but its ratings had fallen into the 10% range since then. Starring Girls Generation member Yoon A and actor Park Jae-seong, "You are My Destiny" finally unveiled the blossoming love between their characters, Sae-byeok and Ho-se, complicating their relationships with two other love interests, Tae-poong (Lee Ji-hoon) and Soo-bin (Gong Hyun-joo). The previous drama which had aired in the same time slot, "I Hate You, But I Don't," ended with ratings of 40%. Although "You are My Destiny" started out with much lower ratings, it is showing promise of catching up to the previous show.
New Drama Series 'You Are My Destiny' Off to a Fresh Start
'You Are My Destiny,' a brand new drama series on KBS 1TV has kicked off to a great start. According to AGB Nielsen Media research, 'You Are My Destiny,' which debuted on May 5 after the previous drama series 'Likeable or Not' ended, recorded 24.8 % nationwide viewer ratings. The viewer ratings in the Seoul area alone were 29.1%. KBS explained that the viewer ratings of the new drama series is in the same range as 'Likeable or Not' on its debut date. 'Likeable or Not' maintained a stable viewer rating of 35.4% throughout the past eight months, topping the list of the most successful drama series on KBS 1TV since 2000. Yoona, a member of the popular female vocal group Girls' Generation, stars in 'You Are My Destiny' as the heroine who finds herself happily adjusting to a new family after a life-changing corneal transplant surgery. Park Jae-jeong, Lee Ji-hoon, Gong Hyun-joo, Lee Pil-mo and Kim Jeong-nan are the co-stars of the new drama series. Viewers have commented on the drama as a "story with a positive message to people who have suffered terrible grief." Others commented that "young idol stars like Yoona and Park have proven themselves to be good actors."
