Korean director Bong Joon-Ho made his mark with such brilliant films as Memories of Murder, The Host and Mother. He was bound to get attention from western audiences and film companies given his mega-talent. Next up he’s directing Snow Piercer, an adaptation of French graphic novel La Transperceneige.
SNOW PIERCER, a Sci Fi, based on the French novel Le Transperceneige, has had rumors flying around for almost a year and has been collecting an impressive list of actors along the way: SONG Kang-ho, Octavia Spencer, John Hurt, Chris Evans and Tilda Swinton just to name a few. This all star cast play the last remaining people on earth who are travelling on a train after a failed global-warming experiment has caused an ice age. Like something from a George Orwell novel, a class revolution starts to brew on board. Shooting has begun in May in the Czech Republic.
