[Interview] Big Bang′s G-Dragon Plans to Write Song for Upcoming YG Girl Group

In a recent interview with enews, G-Dragon said, “[Yang] Hyun Suk hyung (big brother) told me to write a song for the girl group that will debut through our agency,” implying that he planned to participate in the group′s album as a composer.

He added, “I was always jealous of Teddy hyung. I thought it would be hard for a man to write feminine songs, but Teddy hyung does it so well. That′s why I want to produce a girl group someday and learn more about it. Since a girl group is coming up, when the opportunity comes I plan to do my best on it.”

One member of the group, which is set to debut sometime this year, participated in G-Dragon′s solo album, singing for the track Without You. Her name hasn′t been revealed yet, as her name has been shown as a question mark along with the vague group name, ′YG New Girl Group′.
