Song Seung Heon is cast as a lead role of movie Human Addictions
Actor Song Seung Heon has been cast as a lead role of director Kim Dae Woo’s new movie Human Addictions.
Human Addiction is a story about secret love of a war hero and upright general falling in love with a subordinate’s wife at the end of the Vietnam War in 1969. Song is to play the role of colonel Kim Jin Pyeong who was known as an outstanding leader and a mighty solider but committed adultery and made such a mess of his life.
“I felt dignity of Untold Scandal (2003), intensity of Lust, Caution (2007) and desperation of In The Mood For Love (2000) at the same time. I really wanted to act the lead role for myself.” the-36-year-old actor commented on the movie.
Human Addiction is new movie of director Kim Dae Woo who made An Affair, Untold Scandal (2003), Forbidden Quest (2006) and The Servant (2010), which contains sensational material in the Korean film industry and is very much talked about.
The movie will be started filming on October and will be released in the first half of next year.
